History and Location of Mũi Né White Sand Dunes

Mũi Né White Sand Dunes, also known as Bàu Trắng, is located in Hòa Thắng – Hòa Phú Commune, Bắc Bình District, Bình Thuận Province. According to long-time local residents, the sand was originally yellow, but over time, due to changes in the seasons and natural conditions, it gradually turned into the smooth, white color we see today. On the way to the White Sand Dunes, you will encounter many surprising scenic views and charming landscapes that make the journey an unforgettable experience.

How to Get to Mũi Né White Sand Dunes

• From Sunny Beach Resort & Spa: Travel along Nguyễn Đình Chiểu Street and turn right onto Võ Nguyên Giáp Street (National Route 706B). Continue along National Route 706B for about 30 km.
• From Phan Thiết City: Take National Route 706B or Nguyễn Đình Chiểu Street towards Hòn Rơm Tourist Area → continue on Võ Nguyên Giáp Street → Xuân Thủy → and then onto National Route ĐT716. After approximately 12 km, you will reach Mũi Né White Sand Dunes.

Activities at Mũi Né White Sand Dunes

• Sandboarding: The most popular activity at the dunes, suitable for everyone. Sandboard rental costs about 20,000 – 30,000 VND per board.
• Exploring the dunes on a 4-wheel ATV.
• Riding an ostrich/camel for a unique and fun experience.
• Renting Mongolian costumes and capturing stunning photos.
• Enjoying hot tofu pudding from local vendors.
• Taking photos to capture the impressive and majestic scenes of the smooth, extensive sand dunes.

When to Visit?

It’s best to visit Mũi Né White Sand Dunes early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the harsh sunlight and high temperatures. Make sure to bring water to stay hydrated in the heat.
